Robyn Shepherd writes from Portland, Oregon in the United States.

Growing up listening to classical music, oldies from the 1950s and 1960s, and plenty of 80s pop, Robyn developed a rigid sense of what separated good music from bad music. Over the years, he has been grateful to find that distinction fading away into nonsense.

Robyn has played bass guitar for a local production of Jesus Christ Superstar. He has collected over 150 bootlegged audio recordings of Jesus Christ Superstar. He has curated a live-band karaoke performance of Jesus Christ Superstar.

When not thinking about Jesus Christ Superstar, Robyn can be found transcribing jazz piano or Travis-picking folk songs on a DADGAD guitar.
